Hello - sorry I've been missing, but I'm back now going full blast! Today we are going to look at a layout using Silvia's beautiful Lavish Spring kit. The layout is by kaybkay, and it's called Smiles:
This child's beautiful blue eyes pull me right in to this picture - Kay has cropped and placed it to perfection. Everything about the layout blends wonderfully with the picture - the corals and pinks go so nicely with her skin, and the blues make her eyes look even deeper. I love the cluster Kay created, and the butterflies flying over the top are a fantastic finishing touch. The word art is so appropriate - These Smiles Are The Seeds Of The Future - what could be more fitting?

Bubbles and Balloons
Good morning! Today we are going to see a layout from a kit that Silvia released about this time last year, called Joie de Vivre. Nmarti has created a lovely work of art with this kit, called Bubbles and Balloons:
Aren't the colors here amazing? Such beautiful purples with just the touch of green, I really love this color palette. And I really love this picture! I have an idea that when she reaches out to take the balloon that is being offered to her, it will make her so light and giddy that she will float up to the ceiling! Nancy has done such a great job of showcasing her picture with this kit. The clusters look touchably real, and the string of flowers is the perfect element for that space. The triangulation of the 3 butterflies draws the eye right in to the picture - not that it needs much help! Love the papers Nancy has chosen for layering behind the photo. This is a layout that will surely trigger happy memories for many years.

Hope you enjoyed this layout! See you tomorrow!

Blushing Bride
Hi! Hopefully by now you've seen the previews to Silvia's newest kit, which is called Lavish Spring. This is a beautiful kit with a really fantastic color palette, I know you can get lots of scrapping done with it. But let's look at some inspiration - this layout is called Blushing Bride, and is by sage diva 2:
This is the perfect kit to highlight this memorable wedding picture. The background paper is a beautiful print but doesn't overpower Kristin's layout. The highlight papers she's chosen also pick up the picture colors well, and the cluster of flowers at the bottom makes the flowers in the brides bouquet really pop.

Nature Girl
Hi there - welcome to Friday (although it's almost over, I'm late today)! Is there some nature in your future, or your past? Let's look at some inspiration from Naturelle. This layout is called Nature Girl and it's created by Glitter Queen:
This layout is just great! What a terrific way to feature the photo, but still get all the richness of the kit used to scrap it. The clustering is just magnificent - I love the birdie at the bottom. It sort of looks like this darling child is plowing through flowers to chart her path - and the flowers here are so vibrant and fresh you can almost reach over and smell them. Gorgeous layout Jeri!

Bridesmaids
Good morning! Today we are going to skip back a few kits to one Silvia released on my birthday last year, 7/7/11! This kit is called So Pretty. The layout is called Bridesmaids and is by mystampin:
If you're having trouble seeing it, you can click on the layout for a larger view.
My attention snaps right to the picture in this layout, and then stays there trying to figure out where the heads are, LOL! But once I got that worked out, it's so easy to see all the beautiful ways Beth chose to flatter her picture even more. I like the balance of green and black she's chosen with papers and elements, and I love the touch of yellow that comes in with the flowers in the picture. This is such a great layout, thanks Beth!

I wonder if Sylvia's gallery will now fill up with layouts featuring headless photos...LOL!

Mum
Good morning, and welcome to another wonderful inspirational layout from Silvia's gallery! Today we are looking at a layout using Naturelle, done by mystampin, and it's called Mum:
This layout has such a soft and beautiful feel. I like how Beth has layered her background papers - the small green one right behind the picture frame brings a great deal of color and character here, along with the bright green ribbon layered over the frame. I absolutely love the beautiful flowers, and they give the cute birdie a perfect perch to appreciate this photo. I'm always a fan of Silvia's butterflies, and this one is especially spectacular! This layout works great with the vintage picture that Beth chose, but it would work just as well with a modern-day picture too.
